We are thrilled to be working with DHC, an NHS backed organisation that is providing a range of great health services across Surrey and Sussex.
DHC was formed in 2005 by local GPs, to provide high quality, local and timely outpatient appointments, initially for patients of the Dorking practices. In recent years they have widened their mission to provide services for patients throughout Surrey and Sussex. DHC’s main focus is consultant led out-patient services in a wide range of specialities including Paediatrics, Rheumatology, Urology to Cardiology and Chronic Back Pain.
Renowned locally, DHC needed to ensure that they maintain themselves as an essential tool and resource for all its patients. With a site already in existence, the Executive Board were looking for a professional WordPress development agency to update this site to improve the user experience for the patient and healthcare professionals.
Another of DHC’s key aims is to offer comprehensive access to Psychological Therapies. This is an advice, information and therapy service recommended by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK experience emotional health problems each year. This is why DHC has extended its services and advice available to those patients struggling with these health issues with the introduction of DHC Talking Therapies. Offering help including one to one therapy, in person or over the phone, to group sessions and advice on improving wellbeing overall. DHC has always had the best outcome for patients compared to the other Surrey providers and is a leading provider nationally.
With more focus on this area, DHC Limited made the request to 22PointSix to design a designated site for this service. Working together to produce a website that is accessible by all audiences, including potentially vulnerable users, as well as keeping it within the ‘family branding’ and easily maintained due to a WordPress. DHC are now able to offer a comprehensive resource for those seeking help with health topics, advice, self-referral or GP referral information as well as a patient log in area to access further resources.
